Born in Chicago and raised in Orange County, California, Heidi Selexa started acting at the age of 12. Heidi's first callback/ audition and first job was a McDonald's commercial.  She was immediately signed with manager and well-known talent agent Harry Gold -- without telling her parents.

Heidi eventually took a break from acting to focus on school and sports -- softball, soccer, gymnastics, dance, water ballet, diving and the high school dance team.  After graduating high school Heidi with her, bubbly, magnetic and energetic personality landed her first on-air radio DJ job while attending California State University Fullerton. After college, Heidi's on-air resume took her to 92.7fm in Palm Springs with Jimmy Kimmel as another personality, 101.3 fm KDWB in Minneapolis, 95.1 fm WEDJ in Charlotte, B94 fm in Pittsburgh, WTMX fm in Chicago, Star 94.1 in San Diego and nationally at XM Satellite Radio’s 80’s on 8, where she held the number 1 show on the network for 4 years consistententally.  She was on the cover and has been featured in many magazines.  Heidi has worked with and interviewed countless celebrities including Don Henley, Cyndi Lauper, Reo Speedwagon, Styx, journey, Jim Peterik of Survivor, Momento, actress Missi Pyle, and
many more. Heidi became the pin-up girl for the soldiers in Iraq for her support of the troops (she was just blocks away from the 911 tragedy in Washington DC).  Heidi was voted one of the pin-up girls for the soldiers overseas by fans and has won 3 March of Dimes Air Awards for best radio show and personality.

However, Heidi has put radio aside to focus exclusively on her first love, which is acting.  Heidi's first acting job after leaving radio was in the Film  "Deuces Wild," directed by Scott Kalvert and Executive Producer Martin Scorscese,  and the TV show “18 Wheels of Justice."  Heidi filmed her comedy DVD, “GIGGELICIOUS,” where she invented sit-down comedy in the bubble bath for people with tired feet and germ phobia.

Heidi is also an active member of the SAG Conservatory.  She loves Drama, Dramedy, Comedy, Horror and can go from a “don’t mess with me attitude,” to “sugar-sweet” faster then a woman can put on lipstick.
Heidi has just accepted a major role in the next Toronto Pictures Project.  The film and it’s details are to remain undisclosed until May/June 2010.   She is also starring in the horror-comedy webisode "The Zombie Today Show" as Stalker Channing. The webisode airs in over 500 TV stations across the country.  She also just finished the short film "Cell Stalker" from 28 Films production which will be seen in the festival circuit.

Heidi is writing a book about her life as a radio star turned actress, a screenplay, and a sketch comedy for the folks at the LA Comedy Festival.  Heidi's comedy antics were honed through Second City in Chicago, Steven Ivcich Studios in Chicago, and “The Howard Fine Acting Studio” in LA.
